“Blue Room” | Big Moon rave | 2025

In the center the fabric has been sewn together with a panel of orange satin to create a column that is gently illuminated from within. Each bunk has been made available to rest in with pillows and sheets. blue room included text, which you can read here.

“party Streamers” | Lodge | 2019

This site-specific installation was developed in collaboration with Max McDermott for the lodge in 2019, revisiting the location of our previous collaboration in 2017. It involved creating three ‘spokes’ of flying mylar banners coming off a single large tree in a lightly hilly field. The work reflected the sun in the day and the moon at night, and the stiff mylar made a sound like the noise of waves, evoking the sparkling of light and sounds of the ocean. It showed for 3 days during a festival in Mount Rainier National Park.

“golden gates” & “Untitled works” | Lodge | 2017

In 2017, Max Mcdermott and I collaborated on our first site-specific installation for the lodge. This work included four yellow “portals” in a field, in addition to other activations composed of fabric wrapped, draped, or tied throughout the event site. Our goal was to create a playful yet simple transformation of the site, that drew participants out of the campsites and dancing hall and into the natural world around them. This work was up for the duration of the three day event.

“Untitled” | Corridor | 2016

In 2016 Grey Ellis and I were invited to create a large scale installation at Equinox Studios for the experimental festival Corridor. We built a floating “chapel” composed of mylar wrapped frames suspended in the air, with light from a projector and a bowl of water moving throughout the work. My conceptualization of this work was highly influenced by the Byzantine Fresco Chapel in Houston Tx, which used glass and lighting to create a floating chapel. The work was up for the duration of the day long festival, and included a performance by Seattle’s The Esoterics choir.

“Meat Selfie” | Hold Tight to a thing that moves | 2015

I was invited to particpate in an art and music show titled “hold fast to a thing that moves” curated by lil at black lodge in seattle. I conceptualized meat selfie as a work of humility and humor – from a question of who scams who when capital is involved. Earlier that year i had been scammed by a man selling meat door to door. I had very little money and the impact of the meat scam was that i had even less money and a lot of inedible meat. i nailed all of the meat to the wall, where it was allowed to defrost. i then invited participants to take photos with the meat, which came to dominate the hashtag for several months. The show also included printed out copies of online reviews of the meat, and the receipts from the original scam.
